Authenticated and Signed Prints
The print is signed by Hoppy and was created for one of the solo exhibitions held during his lifetime. Hoppy was directly involved in the commissioning and printing process for every one of his exhibitions and took great care over the resultant prints. Fibre-based paper is considered to be the ultimate in archivally-stable analogue printing, using the silver gelatin process to craft beautiful and long-lasting images.
To complement the photographer’s signature on the front of the image, this print has been authenticated by the Estate of John ‘Hoppy’ Hopkins, and features an archivally-stable inked verso stamp containing the full print and authentication details, on the reverse of the print.
